Hi all, my name is Kaitlin. I am 20 years old. I am looking for some dental assistance. I have battled bad teeth my entire life and its slowly but surelly taking a toll on my emotional health. I recently in the past 3-years had the lap-band surgery because i was obese. That took care of the weight problem but not my self esteem. I am not happy with myself, my smile disgusts me. I always look miserable because i dont want to show off my terrible teeth. I currently have insurence but what i need done to get me out of pain and have my smile look half way decent is over 9 thousand dollars and as a 20 year old putting my way through school i do not have that kind of money. If anyone knows of any programs that could help me out i would greatly appreciate it and be forever greatful

That is a great idea i think im going to write some letters to the local dentists...if you do not mind me asking who was this dentist and where was he located. I appreciate the response, I just hope i have that type of luck because its absolutley terrible. I am a good looking girl and it kills me that i am not happy with myself because of my teeth and im always in pain. Again thank you so much!

Kaitlin - I had the same problems with my teeth. I never smiled or allowed myself to be photographed. No one would help me. I wrote and mailed 38 letters to local dentists describing my situation. I received only 2 replies, but the one did $18,000 of work for nothing and he is one of the top-rated dentists in the USA. Don't give up!! I'm still poor but I'm out of pain!!!
